When it came time for me to need assistance with mobility, shopping, bathing, dressing, preparing meals, setting up all medications and helping with all chores, I was, so fortunate to be introduced to Okelani Home Healthcare. Simple things that had become so difficult to do like garbage disposal and mail, along with major categories of daily needs were met by the most congenial staff members one can imagine. they have brought me new zeal for living. My extended family was traveling to Kansas from other states for a wedding, and our elderly dad needed help with bathing and dressing. Luckily for us, in my search I came across Okelani Home Healthcare’s website, and called and talked with Linda. She told me that she had never been asked to work with someone at a hotel before, but true to her vision statement, she agreed to meet us and help us in any way she could.
As it turned out, her daughter, Leilani, visited our dad in his hotel room each of the three mornings we were there. Leilani was warm and respectful and went “above and beyond” in so many ways. Our dad was beyond grateful—Leilani's care helped make for a wonderful weekend for us all.
